How To Open SBI Senior Citizens Recurring Deposits Through Internet Banking?


Finance Guru Speaks: Now you can open Online SBI Recurring Deposits for Senior Citizens through Internet Banking.

Earlier, facility for providing additional rate of interest to senior citizens was not available in e-RD (that is, through Internet Banking). You had to specifically visit the branch to open RD to get the Senior Citizen Rates.

But, now things have become more pleasant and you don’t need to visit the branch for opening Senior Citizen RD account.

Steps to follow to open SBI Senior Citizens Recurring Deposits Through Internet Banking:-

 

How To Open Online Recurring Deposit Account in SBI Through Internet Banking?


Follow the steps as shared in the above link. And, select the Option Senior Citizen, as shown below:-

SBI Recurring Deposit Senior Citizen
SBI Senior Citizen Recurring Deposit
Please note your age should be 60 Yrs or above, on the date of opening RD account as per your bank records.

Please make sure your PAN No. is correctly updated in your branch. If not, you need to visit your home branch with Original PAN Card and have to submit its photocopy.
