How To Open Online Recurring Deposits (RD) In HDFC Bank Through NetBanking?

Finance Guru Speaks:  Please read this article to know how Online Recurring Deposit (RD) account can be opened in HDFC Bank without any efforts.

You need to have NetBanking feature enabled to open your RD Account online. Contact your HDFC home branch to open Netbanking facilities for your account.

Below are the steps to follow to open online RD Account in HDFC Bank:-


1. Login to HDFC Bank NetBanking with your valid details. 

2. Once the page opens, on the left hand side, click Open Recurring Deposit link present under Transact heading. It’s shown as below:-

3. Open New Recurring Deposit page will be opened. Fill the page as per your needs or follow below picture. Click on Continue button once all the details are filled:

       4. Accept the terms & conditions and then click on Confirm button.

Congratulations!! You have successfully opened a RD Account Online through NetBanking in HDFC Bank.

      Hi,

      You can opt for "Request Standing Instructions between your own accounts" through "Transact -> Funds Transfer" Section.

      Hi Thanks for the reply. I dont have joint account. its a single acc. I opened RD via netbanking and paid amount for the first installment. But am not able to find how to pay monthly installment. Will the bank itself deduct amount monthly? or i need to go the nearest location which i specified while opening my account. Kindly suggest

      We have also rechecked. It seems Bank will deduct amount monthly. Please make sure to have sufficient amount during monthly installments deductions.

      Hi, I have opened an RD via net banking and paid first installment but later when the due date to second installment is nearing i got a mail from bank to transfer the amount to RD.Are u sure that bank will deduct the amount monthly?.Kindly suggest
